I was in a strange town, visiting NJ, and badly needed a trim. I walked into Miracles just off the street. I got nervous when I saw all African-Americans, as I am Caucasian with red hair. But there I was, so I sat and got a shampoo and cut, not knowing what the heck to expect. (Retribution? Sisterhood?) I was in shell-shock walking out, as I thought she had cut 'way too much off. ...
