Nice place for kids to see past cultures and other countries habitats. There are 3 floors and a nice hands on butterfly exhibit. Monday's are free for Milwaukee County residents. Could spend hours here seeing the past & cultures. There is a cafe on main level. Parking on street only 2 hours in the meter or garage is more expensive.

My son loves to go to the Milwaukee Public Museum. He is quite interested in the dinosaurs and indian exhibits. We also enjoy the streets of old milwaukee. We get there a few times a year, and it is a unique experience every time. The gift shop is very nice, but a bit expensive.

This is a good few times a year activity to bring children on. Whatever you're studying, there's probably a section on it at the museum! Some tips, though: this is more for older children... not much for babies. Also, try to go on days with less field trips (summer is good!)
