The only good thing about M. Diamond Plumbers is that they are 24 hr service, so if something explodes at 2am they'll be there.....however, they probably won't fix it until 'work hours', charging you $145 for the pleasure of their company and nothing else. My water heater exploded, spewing water everywhere. I knew how to turn off the water supply and called them, thinking perhaps it was a broken ...

With a straight face their technician quoted me a cost of $550 to replace the hot surface ignitor in my attic gas furnace. And claimed that this was a discounted price ! Mike Diamond plumbing. Charged $400.00 for about 1 foot of piping (Ybranch) under sink. Took about an hour for the inexperienced technicion to do. (Two days later it leaked water under sink) . After I checked with several other plumbers and a number of plumbing supply businesses I found the real price of a Ybranch) would be much less, some quotes as low as $40.00-

$400 for 30 minutes to re-seat a toilet. Inflated parts charges. When I called to complain the manager said" Oh, he(guy who came out) made a mistake in the price of parts, here's $25 off..." Not an honest business. There are plenty more professional plumbers in the L.A. area with better ethics.
