Mijita Restaurant Review

Traci Des Jardins took her love of sustainability and her grandmother's recipes and melded them into a gourmet cocina Mexicana. Nestled in the Ferry Building, the brightly decorated counter-service restaurant boasts a view of the Bay, as well as outside picnic tables where one can soak up the sun. Beer-battered mahi mahi and crisp cabbage comprise the fish taco. Slow-braised pork and red...

Chef-owner Traci des Jardins pays homage to her culinary roots at this gourmet taqueria.

I found this to be a very good place to get Mexican food for lunch to eat sitting outside by the ferry market, which is what we did. The place itself is very casual and the menu basic, but works...
