Close to sportfishing docks, this restaurant serves freshly prepared traditional Mexican dishes, complemented by great margaritas.
You will not find "Mexican lite" served here. Instead, this is good soul-satisfying Mexican food. The best carne asada tacos in Point Loma (enchilada are great too). Staff friendly. Atmosphere pleasant. Prices are reasonable. I stop here every time I go to San Diego.
My husband and I have been in Miguels more than a few times. We've usually tried to go during Happy Hour. Sometimes it is super busy and others not so bad. What is bad... their house Margaritas. They are a lousy combination of sweet sour mix, ice and a lime. Their food is tasty (Quesdillas, Nachos, Tacos).
You want Mexican food? This is the place you want to try out. Amazing tasty REAL Mexican food with tons of items on the menu. Friendly Fast Service, only downfall is the parking situation. Gotta order the white sauce that's a must.
