My Home Away From Home
My name is Spooj, and I'm an elderly Wildhaired Terrier. My family could never go anywhere without me because I suffer from terrible claustrophobia and will dig out, climb, or push through any type of cage. If I can't get out, I will break my teeth trying and look like a POW when they come to get me.
My dad got cancer and my family has had to spend ALOT of time in Houston at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital this summer. Luckily for all of us, they found MidTown Doggy Daycare- I get a condo with sliding glass doors, not a cage, a real bed of my own and even a TV they turn up nice and loud when it's thundering.
Even though I still don't like being away from my family (especially my mom), when they come to pick me up I'm not covered in drool, I smell better than when I got there, and I don't have that haunted look I get anywhere else.
My mom manages an emergency animal clinic up in Tyler and has tried to leave me at various places up there with people I even know and like, but it's always the same- TERRIBLE.
She suspects my best buddy Farouq slips me some ice cream and cookies, but *I'll* never tell :)
Thanks to MidTown Doggy Daycare, this summer has been alot less stressful for our whole family. I give this place FIVE SQUIRRELS UP and highly recommend it to even the most timid pups.
