In 1995, the first Pluckers was opened near the University of Texas campus. On our first day of business we sold out of wings and everything else in the restaurant! We knew then that many people in Texas shared our passion for great chicken wings. As Pluckers has grown, we have continually tweaked our little concept by adding menu items and by making Pluckers an even better place to watch...
Why a place that styles itself as a Buffalo wing nirvana would serve Ranch dressing with its wings is anybody's guess; luckily, they will bring on the blue cheese when requested. The wings are huge and juicy and, as long as you stick with the classic Buffalo-style flavors, are quite tasty. Mostly forgettable burgers, chicken sandwiches, ribs and the like round out the menu---the wings are the...
First visit since the remodel. Food is cold. I think they have a new vent system and the food is getting cold before it's delivered. Wings are smaller than before too. They changed ketchup brands. We had two orders of 10 wings with waffle fries and two big draft beers for about $30 before tip. 52 customers …
My friend suggested me to come to eat wings here. Staffs are nice and friendly. Service is not bad. Food is delicious, but take too long. May be there are busy to make food for pickup. I try the spiciest one which is too spicy for me. Good place to hang out with friends and watch games.
I recently ordered 12 sides of Mac n cheese for a party. I ordered online and it was quick and easy. When I picked up, they were finishing up and packaging it. Multiple staff checked in on me while waiting. It was a great experience! And the Mac n cheese was a hit! So tasty!
I like this place. The chicken is always good. I don't care for three boneless chicken. There pieces are very large. So when I'm in the mood for boneless I get the "boneless bites." Smallish appetizer version and pretty good. My favorite is the regular, bone-in wings. They are excellent. I like the mild sauce. Pretty spicey, still.
But my...
Absolute worst service I've had in my life. I work at a bar (nightclub actually) and I will give a lot of grace to them when it's busy and they're working. But there was absolutely no excuse for the total crock of shit we had to deal with tonight all the responsibility of the bar staffs horrible service and attitude to go with it. When I overheard the bartender say "I don't wanna be here...
About Pluckers Wing Bar In 1995 Mark, Dave, and Sean sought out the best wings Austin, TX had to offer. When they couldn't find them, they decided to make their own, and they've never looked back! For more details please visit our website
We make wings for people who know the difference: The difference between fresh and frozen; between hand crafted sauce recipes and something squeezed through an industrial tube; between layering on flavor instead of trying to cover it up. We use fresh breading on fresh chicken for a fresh, cooked-to-order meal. If you're fine eating wings out of a cardboard boat, go for it - we think you deserve...
