I prefer this newer Michael's over the Pasadena location on Colorado. The overall scheme is the same, of course, but the square footage is greater and the lighting is brighter. Another plus is that this newer location in Glendale is a single story...don't have to climb any stairs to find out that what you're looking for was downstairs to begin with. I strive to be an artsy person, so I love to come here whenever I take up a new hobby. I used to be into knitting, so I would go to Michael's for all my knitting supplies (yarn, needles, etc). I love this store! It's awesome & HUGE. The lines are generally long, but I love the fact that they teach classes there. You can learn how to make your own jewelry and whatnot. I find some of their items a bit pricey though, but sometimes they have really great sales.
