Citysearch Editorial Review

After opening in 2009 as an offshoot of Minneapolis-based Manny's Steakhouse, this throwback chophouse adopted its local name a year later. The elegant dining room is a beefy mix of dark woods,...

Editorial review from Urbanspoon

I was there for lunch with a business partner at 1:15 PM and the place was empty. We were the only peoplein the place. The food was great like the service, but maybe the high prices are keeping people away. Lunch for two was $89 with tip included. It is very nice and beautifully set up, but apparently not very popular.

Editorial review from Urbanspoon

Typical overpriced Miami restaurant offering horrible service. Had seafood pasta for $30 and it was highly undesirable. Waitress took forever to take our drink order then never checked on us again after dinner. I had to wave down a busboy long after we finished eating to have him find the waitress for us. Most annoying of all is how they add 18% gratuity to the bill (and we were only a party of...

Editorial review from Urbanspoon

I planned my company Holiday dinner at Chophouse and lets just say.....HORRIBLE!!! I was lied too from the beginning just so they could make a sale. The service was not to par- bad and super slow, it took them 20mins just to bring our drinks to the table- every time. Our dinner started at 8:30 and ended at 12am (that's how slow they were). The only up side was the food, it was really good.

Tips about this business (4)

After opening in 2009 as an offshoot of Minneapolis-based Manny's Steakhouse, this throwback chophouse adopted its local name a year later. The elegant dining room is a beefy mix of dark woods, black leather banquettes and gargantuan steak knives on white tablecloths. The outdoor patio offers romantic bayside views. Portions are Chicago-sized huge, from two pounds of king crab legs to a hefty double porterhouse. Lamb chops, Bone-in Rib Eye and Chilean sea bass provide more surf and turf options. The downtown setting gives it a corporate power lunch vibe by day, before carnivorous couples...

Where to Sit

If the main dining room is too formal, raised seating in the bar or the patio's lounge-style setting will loosen those neckties.

Save Money

Happy hour 2-for-1 drink specials is offered on weekdays from 4pm through 7pm and then again from 10pm until closing time at the patio and inside bars.

Parking

Validated valet parking is just $5. Pay parking is available at the Wachovia and Citibank buildings a block away.
