Delicious Food

First time here, staff was attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious especially the beef empanadas and the hummus. The service was top notch. Overall, pretty good experience.

Worst Customer Servie at MI Luna in Woodlands!!

The worst customer service EVER! The bar tender left my credit card laying down in a random place in the bar…when I came up to close my tab a bald man with decayed teeth told me “we don’t take cards, we don’t know what you are talking about” I refused to leave that place until he found it…again laying down near the bar! To top it all out…that bald man with rotten teeth throws it at meeeee? I was disgusted with the service! The place is deserted most of the time…but I used to go because my friends hang out (used to) there! Horrible place! No manners! Our other waiter will leave us unattended to talk to another bartender. Never again will go back! Try Copas Bar Lounge is way better! ;)

What made me leave the place was the sexually explicit material they were showing while children where sitting in the back!

Mi Luna Restaurant Review

For centuries, tapas have been associated with hearty drinking. Spanish taverns offered bits of bread, cheese and sausage to soak up some of the alcohol consumed by traveling soldiers. At Mi Luna, the tiny treats have evolved, but their purpose remains closely tied to the bar. No wonder they're the huge focal point of this lively restaurant. Try the house sangría---a simple yet fanciful elixir...

Vibrant and bustling Rice Village eatery known for tapas, potent sangria and a sexy, young clientele.

I made a reservation through Open Table with my credit card. I kept getting updates on my reservation and even a text message to confirm my arrival. When I arrived with my family ready to celebrate my mothers birthday, the establishment has a "FOR LEASE" sign on the door. Very unprofessional and disappointed with this.

The place has been shut down due to not paying their rent, I do not understand why the online table reservation is still going on, such a waste of time!!!

Booked reservation online ahead of time for our anniversary. Got there and the host/ waiter did not acknowledge our reservation and just told us to sit anywhere. I did not say anything because I was trying to surprise my wife. We took seats at the bar and had drinks and ate a great meal. However we were only able to enjoy the experience for about half of the meal, as the band stopped playing...

We really loved our visit to Mi Luna. It has a wonderful old age atmosphere. My wife had been to Spain at Tapas bars and it had that sense of old Europe. The menu was really diverse and we had 4 plates all of which were all delicious. The service was excellent also. You need to understand where to Park. There are parking meters across the street in the shopping centers. You can use a...

This was our first time and we were eager to taste the paella. Unfortunately, the consistency of the paella was not to our liking. Although paella rice is normally a little bit watery, in this case it was too much. The taste was ok, but the watery aspect of it was a turn off. We have had previous experiences with paellas in many countries and this one was ok, but not superior. The rest of...

Mi Luna can be found at University Blvd 2441. The following is offered: Steak Houses. The entry is present with us since Sep 8, 2010 and was last updated on Nov 12, 2013. In Houston there are 73 other Steak Houses. An overview can be found here.

Legend has it that "tapas" originated many centuries ago. Dusty Spanish taverns would cover glasses, wine, or beer with bread, cheese, or sausage...to keep the soldiers sober and the flies out of the drinks of customers.

But the Spanish found these "lids" to be quite tasty, and would often choose their favorite bar by the quality of its tapas. Accompanied with a wide variety of wines, tapas...

Located in the Rice Village, this restaurant serves excellent Mediterranean tapas dishes. MiLunaHouston.com for more info.

Tips about this business (3)

Parking

It's difficult in the Village, particularly during dinner, so spring for the valet.

What to Drink

The wine list is surprisingly varied and affordable, and always a good accompaniment for a tapas meal. For a twist on traditional sangria, try Mi Luna's signature sangritas (margarita mixed with sangria).

The Extras

Sunday brunch (served 11am-3pm) is popular and includes a wide selection of tapas, an omelet station and bottomless mimosas, champagne and sangria.
