I was very disappointed in the food and environment. There was no seasoning on the food and the portions were small and not worth the money!

Mert's is a great location for Southern cuisine at a reasonable price. The fried chicken and macaroni and cheese are definitely one of my favorites. Save room for dessert. The red velvet and strawberry cakes are as good as grandma use to make. The portions are large and tasty.

This is my and my husband's favorite date night hang out! The food is delicious... shrimp and grits, and their fried chicken are two of our favorite dishes! Now if only they'd serve fried okra, I'd be in heaven!
