Called to see if they had some special stuff for a client who had come in from Sweden. Person said he was closed and, when asked if he had a recommendation for another store, he used profanity, suggested that I was wasting his time, and then hung up. The selection had better be VERY good if they have staff this rude.

This is a great neighborhood store. The manager and staff not only have a good understanding of wine, but they also are very relaxed about it, making great pairing recommendations when you have a dinner party. They also deliver - very helpful for parties! The store is not as swanky looking as some of the fancier places in town but I always purchase my wine and booze here for both the value... more

If you're looking to pop into a quick convienient wine store for a bottle to go with your dinner this is a great place- if you know specifically what you want. Do not however, rely on the staff for recommendations or to fill special orders.
