Beginning to Question This One
The hours posted are from 9am till 5pm. I am having a problem verifying the payment I made to AT&T through this currency exchange. At first, they answered my calls. After they told me that they had spoken to AT&T and verified that my payment had been made over 2 weeks ago and that all was settled with AT&T, I then contacted AT&T who didn't know what I was talking about. Since then, I made a 4:35 pm and a 4:55 pm phone call to the Merchants Currency Exchange and there was no answer.
Let it be known, also, that People's Gas and ComEd, the gas and electric companies of the Chicagoland area, have dropped this Currency Exchange from their list of authorized payment centers. Since I originally posted this on April 16, I have been told on 3 separate occassions that they faxed material to AT&T that somehow AT&T never received. Now, in my lifetime of dealing with AT&T as either a long distance provider, now my local phone company and my ISP, I have never encountered a problem with a bill with them, or any problem that they weren't more than willing than to look into. It is my advice to steer clear of this particular Currency Exchange.
Another one of those things that make you go "Hmmmm". At least I have a receipt.
