Must See!
When visiting Shipshewana this is a MUST SEE stop, esp if you have kids (very young children may not be able to understand, but the staff was excellent in helping the young children understand & not be overwhelmed). You may think you know something about the Amish, Mennonite and the difference, but chances are you do not know the entire story.

This non-profit educational center and museum educates visitors about the customs and beliefs of the local Amish and Mennonite communities. Via historical displays, multimedia presentations and virtual tours, guests can see firsthand the traditions and way of life of these peace-loving societies. Group tours are available, and special events are held throughout the year.
