Help us make it rightThe Scene
Dim lighting and ice-cold dry martinis add to the romantic aura that fills each cozy banquette. This longstanding Palm Springs institution at the Ingleside Inn is a popular spot...
Really old fashioned, classy place, The waiters wear tuxedo's, there is a Matre'd. The piano bar is always a good time, you never know who might be getting up to sing. Nino Fontana performs every Thursday-Saturday nights. Music from Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, all the way to Kid Rock....Sunday afternoon jam is alot of fun with so much talent.. Always a great place to be.
Pros
+ Great live piano bar 7 nights a week . Sunday afternoon jam
Cons
- Way too busy at the Sunday Jam!!!! Place is packed. Good pe
I don't think Mel would ever let his place go down the train, so if anybody gives him only one star...... well it can't be a star, only stars and there spoiled taste give a high rating. I personaly have eaten there so many times I can't count and service and food have always been to die for.
Who is this guy below me working for honestly probably Le. vallyrius which is the most plan and boring food in palm springs. This is the best continental food in palm springs hands down i just dined their a month ago with my family and it is the best food ive ever had. The cherries jubilee was amazing. so you might jus wana stick to your day job bud and not go out to eat ever again
Pros
+ Tableside Service,
Cons
- Patio dining room
Melvyn's has degenerated into one of the worst spots in town. It's a tourist trap for people you don't know better. In years past, food and music were good. Now it's just a hideous karaoke bar with low-quality food, and employees with miserable attitudes.
Pros
+ Landscaping
Cons
- Bad Music, Overpriced Food, Rude Employees
Lousy food, music and attitude. 20 years ago this place was okay. Locals are smart enough to stay away now.
Salons and Spas, Matrix, Biolage
Melvyn's Restaurant provides an ambiance of the early 1900's and resides on the premises of Ingleside Inn.
Melvyn's has a connoisseur's selection of imported and California Wines.
