Meltdown has a great selection of new and used/reprinted comics, collectible posters, figurines/maquettes and classic children's books. They have some hip clothing and evil dolls, too. Meltdown started having some signings for movies a while ago and let Drunken Master, an Asian cinema store, open up a concession in the corner. If you are into comics, this is one of the best stores in LA. Where else do you go to buy Tin Tin, Batman and the Punisher?

I have never seen a bigger comic book store in my life. Seriously, it's huge. The staff are always super helpful when I can't find what what I'm looking for on my own. They've even got a baby section with clothes and toys and books for the little ones.

One of the best stores I've seen in the USA or Europe - great staff, incredible selection and not just the standard DC comics bull - lots of independent labels and authors.
