What a shame of an excuse to the Medical profession

What a shame of an excuse to the Medical profession, 1 Star is being generous!!!

Here is the story.

Well my wife awoke one day with a terrible debilitating neck and head pain, so in search of an answer and some help, and hearing about these so called Urgent Care Clinics that are popping up everywhere, We decided to go to the one closest to our home, We arrived at Medicenter Massapequa at @ 10 am - We entered and met the receptionist, who asked for our Insurance Card and ID, after giving these items and she tried scanning them with antiquated printer equipment that apparently have seen better days, I mean they didn't even work. I should have known that this place was sketchy at that point and left immediately, after giving them the benefit of the doubt, I was then told my insurance deductible was High and I would have too pay in cash - Well Thanks to #Obamacare and knowing we had a high deductible, I agreed to pay for the visit in cash upon completion. We were then ushered into the examination room, where a Nurse came in with the usual question, ie: Date of Birth - The very next question is How Old Are You??? I mean simple addition and subtraction should definitely be a pre requisite of being a Nurse should it not? I now am starting too look for hidden cameras as I thought I might have stumbled onto America's Funniest Home Video or the like.... But apparently not.. to continue, She then asked for her symptoms, So my wife elaborated that starting last night after just a stiff neck for a week or so, it got suddenly extremely worse and she can't take the pain anymore... So the nurse said the Doctor would be right in, and he was - He entered the room and said your Neck Hurts??? So she replied yes, He takes two steps backwards and said You Have Too Go To The Hospital!!!! it could be Meningitis!!! and basically said they couldn't help us there, opened the door as too lead us out where, the receptionist (although she was nice enough) asked for the $94.86 for the office visit - So not too make a scene, I handed her a $100 bill, and she didn't even have change for that!!! So she gave some handwritten corrected receipt and $6.00 back.... As anyone who knows me I am an independent business man, I am Fair in every way, and I also LOVE to Leave Reviews for whom I feel screwed me over!!!!

#1 - If your in business too offer medical service - please be sure the staff appears competent to do so

#2 - If for some reason or another- you can not render service as offered, Just apologize and don't charge the patron, as you can see, they might get mad, and be literate, and leave you a multitude of reviews of your business

#3 - At least try to offer the service you are supposed too, Not tell me to go to the Emergency Room, when your Building has signs all over it stating - Emergency Services - Urgent Care - I would have just went there to begin with!!!! Without the need of being ripped off for $96.00 for nothing in return!!!!!
