McKenna’s began operating in December of 1991. Since then we have grown to be one of Omaha's favorite BBQ restaurants.
With a menu offering fine pork, beef and chicken, all slowly smoked to perfection over hickory wood, seasoned by our own sauce and spices, it is no wonder we have grown to become Omaha’s favorite BBQ restaurant!

With an open air ambience and the feel of a Louisiana Roadhouse, our founders, combined with their passions for Blues Music and Spicy Southern BBQ to create an award winning product and restaurant concept.
When Adam first met Eve, That's When the Blues Started, or so it says in bright neon letters across one wall of this popular midtown joint. This was a great place - 10 years ago
This kitchen can't boil water without screwing it up. Lousy food, lousy service but at least there's plenty of parking. Once the namesake left, the free-fall began and hopefully the new owners will turn this Titanic around.
Got the blues in the wrong way
went in expecting blues and BBQ and didn't get either. place was packed. Tables are sheet metal which allow the plates to slide around.
