I purchased a gorgeous BMW 7 series from Jim McCormick with 96K miles. It had a slight oil leak from the beginning but he told me it came from a worn out valve-cover gasket. I replaced the valve-cover gasket, but within 6 months, the head gasket failed. The BMW dealer informed me the car most-likely had been salvaged. I ended up selling the car for a huge loss.
