My boyfriends lives a block away and I shop for my city friends here. The lard bread is fantastic. If you are wondering about it, it basically is a fresh loaf with ham or something like it baked into it. No need to make a sandwich out of it.
The cookie platters are great as well, we take them to our friends at the Porsche dealerships in Roslyn and Huntington for better service... Now they guys... more

Best local italian bakery - and that's saying a lot in this neighborhood full of great ones. Lovely italian cookies and breads, wonderful coffee and the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had - no gooey frosting - just pure cinnamon, butter, and sugar. After leaving the neighborhood I still drive down from Albany periodically to stock up.

This bakery is outstanding! I only began to go there after Camareri's, the "Moonlight" bakery closed down and discovered their excellent fresh bread and their big specialty...lard bread...an Italian specialty that barely makes it home before it is devoured! Outstanding! I just started buying their great cookie packages for my office at Christmas and they were gone!! Had to get more. Same... more
