There's nothing fancy about The Maynard Outdoor Store , a locally run, independent clothing store. But, it's a great place to buy clothing, shoes, sneakers, jackets for all seasons, hiking boots, baseball gloves, winter gear, and the like. There are small but decent junior clothing sections for boys and girls. Purchase Boy Scout handbooks and other scouting basics here, too.

Great selection of outdoor gear, raincoats, camping, snow skiing, etc. Went in for a raincoat and found exactly what I wanted at about half the money I thought I would spend! Will go back and explore more for the winter- great prices and friendly, helpful staff, along with a huge inventory, give this store a world class rating.
