Dr. Kauffman is a highly skilled surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and treats them like family. I sustained a serious injury to my wrist. Broke both ulna and radius. Dr. Kauffman immediately fit me in for surgery, before which he explained everything completely & very clearly. He performed ORIF of left wrist & carpal tunnel release. Went excellent. He even personally called my husband afterwards to give him details. Within 5 weeks post-op I had full range of motion & little if any pain!...

Broke my arm and had a rod and screws put in. He was very caring and explained the procedure and after care to me. Very nice bedside manners. Highly recommended him.

I recently saw Dr. Kauffman for shoulder pain and loss of mobility. He tried other less invasive procedures before bringing up surgery as an option. After presenting his findings and explaining what surgery might be able to accomplish, he left the decision up to me without pressure.
