The museum at the Mastadon State Historic Site was small but well done and interesting. The highlight of our visit was a hike and a picnic at a picnic table, however! Nice trails!

We have often visited Mastodon State Historic Site. We like to take a brief walk to the stream and take a creek hike with our dogs. Usually it's not too crowded at all. There is ample parking, a nice playground for the kids, picnic benches and toilets.
This time was no different, we enjoyed taking the dogs in the creek....

Great Park
