I visited the self-proclaimed "master stylist " - Mario Avila for a simple wash and cut - my regular stylist in the city was on vacation and I live in the neighborhood so I thought I'd give him a try. Mario is a great guy but Hair Profiles stinks!!!!

He is no longer at that salon. Hair Profiles is dirty, staff is unprofessional and the owner doesn't care. They will try to push unnecessary products and services on you. If you go in for a trim, they want to dye your hair red, give you a mani-pedi and sell you some type of conditioner that you don't need.
Went in to get slight trim and came out with chopped off hair!!! Will never go... more
