Mason Jar is a step above a sandwich shop. It uses really fresh ingredients and offers both generous portions and huge side salads. A half sandwich at Mason Jar is probably what most people think that a whole sandwich should be. There are a lot of unusual sodas. Lunchtime is primarily sandwiches and salad but dinner time has fresh meats and vegetables. Their BBQ is really good.
Chatty owner Mason is often on-hand to greet diners at this bite-sized eatery creating a friendly neighborhood vibe. A health-centric menu filled with mostly organic and homegrown fare features starters such as mixed green salads, crab cakes and daily-changing soups. Popular entrees are macaroni and cheese, free-range, skinless, fried chicken and slow-roasted beef. Among the many vegetarian...

I've been going to Mason Jar for over a year for bruch. Initally, the great food and fresh squeezed apple juice made up for the lousy service, but the food continues to slide downhill, they no longer serve fresh apple juice, they no longer offer soy cheese, and service is still lousy. The breakfast food all has a sheen from the extravagant use of oil in all their cooking. This place is not...
