We stayed at the Robert Johnson house of the Historic Inns during the summer and had a wonderful visit, so we came back for a quick holiday getaway. This time we tried the Governor Calvert House, and we're hooked! The room was elegant and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly, especially Kevin, the front desk manager. Valet parking was...

My husband and I drove down for our anniversary. This hotel has several locations, our room was in a quiet building across from the State House. Nicely appointed, comfortable bedding and very quiet. Will definitely come again and recommend this hotel. We stayed in the governor Calvert building, King bed. Classic styles, with archeological display in the main lobby. Staff was very kind and helpful. Clean room. Quiet. Great price too.

Superb inn with fantastic location

Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We lost the ticket for valet parking and they couldn't have been nicer. Room was spacious, elegant and chic. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but shower was good, water was hot and it was nicely designed. Location could not have been better. Would...

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very small. Being a girl with a lot of stuff I had to be creative. This wouldn't stop me from...
