If I go to other supermarkets and forget my savings card, they can look up the information by letting me type in my phone number. If that doesn't work, the cashier let's me use his or her card. However, at O'Malias, I have to let them take down my information and return with my card. This is inconvenient. It also creates friction between customers and staff who have to explain a stupid policy.

I think it's fine that a supermarket employs mentally incapable people, if those people are properly supervised. However, it seems there are only mentally incapable people at the Downtown Indianapolis O'Malias.
(1) This is a great place to buy totally rotten mushrooms, avocados, and lettuce, all five days past their sell-by dates. (This just happened today.)

I love the salad bar at Omalias. The selection on it is great. They also have a lot of hard to find items. It's not a store that I use for my basic grocery shopping. It's a fun store and the staff is friendly. It tends to be a little crowded. I think it's the best option for downtown grocery shopping.
