The hotel was very busy and myself and a colleague checked in quite late. He is a lifetime platinum member so got upgraded to a beautiful suite. I on the other hand got a pretty standard room with a pretty poor bathroom. Overall the hotel is showing its age

I checked into the Marriott hotel at the Renssiance hotel in Detroit MI.
The rooms are nice but the service sucks. I stayed for 6 days. Some days I got clean towels, some day I didnt. Some days I got new shampoos and soaps, some days I didnt. The room service food was horrible. I cough my maid coming into...

Great Hotel: Walking Distance to everything

I would highly recommend this hotel when visiting Detroit. You can walk to both stadiums. Lots of local bars and it sits right on the river with great views. Service was great and the lobby bar makes great drinks.
