Great for a runner

It's nothing fancy not even the suites. But that being said it's clean and comfortable as well. My favorite part is its right in the park and makes for an awesome run along the waterfront and one of the nicest restaurants is in next door.

Very clean hotel room! (My number 1 priority.) Nicely (Christmas) decorated lobby w/comfortable seating for viewing their lobby's TV or reading; pleasant & accommodating staff; room was comfortable though I would have appreciated a microwave; nice mix of breakfast options; washer/dryer in the extended lobby area (interesting placement, if I may say). Horrible Experience, Stay away from the Cabins

Spent one night here in one of the cabins. The cabins sit on a pond, nice views. That was the positive. Overpriced, dirty, outdated, bugs everywhere. It cost $175 for the five of us to stay one night. We had to sweep the floors when we arrived because of dead bugs everywhere. My brother-in-law arrived first and it was freezing...

Spent three nights. No frills, clean, roomy rooms. Basic Dish TV, HBO. Free wifi. Minimal, free, cold breakfast. Decent restaurant next door. Good location, proximity to marina, beach, picnic area, walking/biking trails, visitor center. Short walk to dam and fishing areas. 5 minutes to Carlyle town, shops, dining.
