Great place to go if you are looking for a nice quiet movie theatre, less commercialized... inside there are only about 4 theatres. Public is older, but movies are really good most of the time. Price for ticket a little lower than AMC or National Amusements. There is Greaters and a really nice restaurant Latin Quarter, for pre-movie dinner.

If you want to get away from the mainstream movies, check out this place. Lots of foreign films from all over the world, sometimes they are really weird but you have to take chances if you want to see something original and unconventional. The Mariemont Theatre is in Mariemont Square, right next to Graeter's. It's owned by the same people who own the Esquire, a bigger version in Clifton. Cheapie night on Tuesday.
