My husband and I love neighborhood restaurants and Lasseigne's fits the bill. The owner, Karen is delightful and never fails to greet us.

First time at this spot. It was a bit slow because of Easter weekend. Food was very tasty and the service was excellent/Friendly. I had the crawfish poboy. Cooked just right and the fries that came with it were cooked just right. I skipped the desert but had a liquid one instead. I tried out the River Road Coffee white Russian. This drink was great and would highly recommend.

We came in for brunch after church and the place was empty. The biscuits and gravy was very good but I did have to ask for extra gravy and would have preferred that the biscuits have been cut open. We had two orders of eggs Benedict and both were well prepared. The eggs are served on a biscuit rather than English muffin, but it was a nice change of pace. Fried shrimp, catfish and onion rings were grear as was the shrimp salad and corn/shrimp sour. Chargrilled oysters and cobbler need some improvement.
