The courtyard brims with a bustling crowd of visitors anxious to slip their hands and feet into the imprints of their favorite bygone stars. Few ever reach the lobby, where you can enjoy the atmosphere in a less hectic setting. The main theater is still a great place to see a movie, and the side theaters are adequate. When your eyes adjust to the hall's velvety darkness, you'll spy a...

The renowned cement courtyard bears celebrity footprints and accompanying inscriptions. The courtyard brims with a bustling crowd of visitors anxious to slip their hands and feet into the imprints of...

The theater was opened in 1927 by impresario Sid Grauman, a brilliant promoter who's credited with originating the idea of the paparazzi-packed movie "premiere." Outrageously conceived, with both authentic and simulated Chinese embellishments, Grauman's theater was designed to impress. Original Chinese...

The place is awesome. It's old and has a lot of history in it. The handprints and footprints outside are pretty interesting. Taking pictures is a must. It's been mention in films, music, and novels so it's worth visiting! Tourist moment. :)
There are a lot of places in Hollywood that are kind of a let down when you visit them, but the Chinese theater is actually really cool. Just make sure when you go there, you're going to a movie in the main theater - the big one - because there are a lot little theaters in the same complex, and you might think your tickets are to the movie in the big theater when they're actually for a little...

The Chinese Theatre is Hollywoood History. The fun outside is great to fill time before the movie. Inside, you'll find old Hollywood majesty. Concessions are generally pretty fast. Seating is amazing...take some time before the movie to sit and take it all in. If you can catch an opening expect a raucous crowd. I'd highly recommend you make some time for a movie here if you're from out of...
