Did you keep records of everything?

If you kept records it will be easier to pursue a remedy through the State Bar and maybe even Civil court if malpractice is an issue. If you don't have records you can still file a complaint to the State Bar, but if you can't prove your side or even worse that lawyer kept records of everything than it might not go far.
