I don't agree with the negative reviews, had a great experience visiting the store yesterday for the first time. I used to go horseback riding regularly from age 7 though high school, but now I'm looking to get back in the saddle after a 14 year long break. Mike Santiago (the store manager) was very helpful in selecting the basic items I needed to get started (breeches, helmet, shoes, and gloves), and never tried to talk me into purchasing the more expensive products (I made it clear that I didn't want to spend a lot). I disagree with all of the negative reviews about this store. The staff work hard to provide the best service they can. The prices that they offer may seem high, but they are more than fair, and there is not much they can do about them…
The salesman talked me into buying a helmet that cast 200$ for my child. Misleading me into thinking that the expensive helmet would better protect my child when there were other helmets that cost less that have the same exact safety…

I used to ride, but was away from the sport for quite a while, so I needed some guidance on equipment and apparel. The staff was super helpful in getting the right stuff--I ended up with some neat, inexpensive breeches, ankle boots with half chaps, and a Charles Owen helmet. Turns out I have an oddly-shaped head, so I needed to try on a lot of different models. Saleslady couldn't have been more patient and polite.
