Don't leave on an empty stomach. Fine dining is available at Azul, with a more casual vibe is found at the Asian-inspired Cafe Sambal.
The namesake martini features mandarin-spiced Absolut, along with orange liqueur, sour mix, and pineapple juice. It is garnished with an orange slice.
The floor-to-ceiling windows over majestic Biscayne Bay views, but feel free to grab an outside table to enjoy the cool bay breezes.
Editorial Reviews from the web
Bar menus should never be this heavy, but one expects an eight-page epic when a watering hole's hook is its assortment of 250 martini flavors. Tucked inside the elegant Mandarin Oriental, the bar feels just as fancy. Choose an intimate table for two or take a chance with longer communal tables for eight. The bartender won't rush patrons through the heavy reading, offering mixed nuts and dried...

In Short Genteel is the word here; neither the restaurant nor its customers need to flaunt their upscale position and social cachet, a welcome relief from the ostentatious South Beach scene. Azul's dining room merely whispers luxury and elegance; there's a long, glittery silver bar that's inset with a trough of ice cooling down bottles of fine champagne. Standout entrees include the...

The Scene The Mandarin Oriental Hotel may be a monument to the Eastern aesthetic, but inside its soaring lobby lies a temple to one of the greatest inventions of the Western world: the martini. The staff used our names all the time, the food was well presented and tasted very very good. The wine list is amazing, the courses were appropriately...

I was there for the blackout of '08! But, it didn't prevent the Mandarin Spa from offering polite service and a great massage! The hotel itself offers beautiful views of downtown. The Spa staff is first rate. I could knock off a star for the high prices...but somethings are worth it!

One of the best luxury hotels in Miami. The rooms are beautiful with a great view of the ocean. The rooms give you a comfortable home feeling. The sushi bar is great; all fresh fish. I didn't go to the spa but I heard its amazing. One of the best hotel staffs that I have ever encountered. I will be back!
