We stopped by recently and kids (youngsters and teenagers) enjoyed feeding growing fish in various pools. Picnic tables were useful for our lunch. Hatchery part was silent on the day we were there.
I love to fish, but I had never seen a fish that close up until I went to the hatchery. Cement tanks are filled with all sizes of trout, from little fingerlings to some as big as my arm. Wow! The DNR people answered my questions, took us on a tour of the facility and let us feed the fish....
