Help us make it rightThis is the best Mexican restaurant we have ever been too. Please try the chicken enchiladas. It has the BEST sauce ever. They are known for their soupy tacos, but everything in the menu was simply delicious and so authentic. Simply gourmet. The best desserts too! We now make it a point to visit once a week. We just went there today. I used to like this place, food was good. But today, however, the service was bad and my coworker's food had a hair in her salad. We complained to the rude lady assisting us and she just laughed. My coworker had to pay for the full meal even though she did not get to finish it. The worst part of this ordeal was that this lady at the cash register, never once apologized or offered to give her another meal, she just laughed about the incdident and collected our money. A simple apology would have been sufficient. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!! They definitely need to work on their customer service skills which are practically non existent. No wonder they are always hiring staff. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!
Food has always been good, however the service is always the complete opposite. Lady who waitresses and rings you up, always looks mad, is very rude with her responses when you ask her anything. I went again only because my best friend insisted but this time not only was she rude as usual but my friends food had a hair in it and the rice we were served tasted like it was over a week old. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Discovered this place by accident and ended up going every Saturday for nearly a year. Their tamales are great! Try the Chorizo omelette with Mama's signature potatos and a chicken tamale! Their coffee is also great (from costa rica). Meals are served with homemade tortilla chips and salsas.
Inconsistent...sometimes it's great, other times not so much. Our family & I usually visit on Sunday's and orders menudo & it always tastes different.
I expected more variety, a little pricier for the place. Place clean and good service but the food didn't like. It's just an ok, but not great
Just when you thought you want to avoid restaurants, you come to one that redeems the restaurant experience--that's Mama's. The soupy tacos are to live by (who would want to die after tasting such bliss). This place more than lives up to its name. So, far it is a hidden gem, so don't delay!
Still unsure. The service was great. Very friendly and quick. The food has been hit and miss. Tortilla soup was great one day by salty another. The enchiladas were cold. The combo plate on another day was awesome. I'll give it another shot.
Really is a fantastic place to eat. I've yet to have anything I didn't like from there. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. I love their "soupy tacos" (and yes they're far better than Chico's Tacos), enchiladas, green chile tamales, and their chilaquiles. Definately a place to go.
