Um, to the reviewer below, when you declaw a cat, you are amputating the tips of its toes. It's kind of a brutal practice and it's not unsurprising to me that it was painful. If you had communicated with Dr. Mahan early on, you probably could have spared your cats further pain. Perhaps you didn't follow the instructions.... ;) That being said, I'm sorry your little friends were in pain!

I write this review with a heavy heart. Warning to pet owners who plan to have a major operation done. I took 2 cats to Dr. Mahan to get them declawed. He uses the "clip" procedure and then uses a glue (like superglue) to close the wounds. Long story short... it has been over two weeks and the cats are still in pain and limping. I have taken my pets to Dr. Mahan since the 1980's and a kinder,
more caring and gentle Vet cannot be found anywhere. He is a gentle-

I have known Dr. Mahan since the early 1960s. He is a gentle man with a calm, kind manner with animals (and people.) He always takes the time to patiently answer all questions either in person or by phone. His office offers walk-in hours every morning. He has given our cats excellent care.
