This "magical" hotel is located just below the Magic Castle and close to the star-studded pavement of Hollywood Boulevard. The rooms are spacious and clean with nice furniture, carpet and firm mattresses. Have a craving for Vegemite or prune whip? The staff will scour grocery stores. Sad to miss the "Grey's Anatomy" finale? Theyll be sure to tape it. And best of all, free snacks and sodas await in the lobby.

Editorial Reviews from the web
The Bottom Line: Unique hotel just off Hollywood Boulevard has suites with full kitchens, free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and a small heated pool. Guest Rooms and Rates: From $129.
Located a stone's throw from Hollywood Boulevard's attractions, this garden-style hotel/motel at the base of the Hollywood Hills offers L.A.'s best cheap sleeps and is ideal for wallet-watching families or long-term stays. You won't see the Magic Castle Hotel in Travel + Leisure anytime soon -- the rooms are done in high Levitz style -- but the newly refurbished units are spacious,...

I stayed here for one night. It was my husband's birthday and there was a small cake waiting for us, which was a surprise to both of us. I'd asked for the nicest room they had - they gave us a free upgrade to a suite. They allowed us to check out an hour later for no fee. The room had free wi-fi and there were free snacks in reception all day. The staff bent over backwards to help in any way...

My husbands company had their Christmas party at the Magic Castle. The food was good, the magic was amazing. Often you sit in the back of a magic show and you think, if you were closer, you could see how they do it. At the Magic Castle you are close, really close, I was even at the table with the magician (as his assistant), and I still couldn't figure it out. Don't miss an opportunity to...

This is an awesome hotel in a prime location on Highland Ave, right next to Hollywood Blvd. It's only a 2 minute walk to Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Kodak Centre. The staff are very friendly and accomodating and the rates are very reasonable for it's location. The only downfall I can think of is that the rooms could do with a slight refurbishment, but apart form that, it's still a great...
