I've been coming to Maduro since about 2000. This place has been a favorite of mine since the first time walking through the door. Since it is technically a cigar bar, it tends to be a bit smoky at busy times during the weekend. When I want to lose track of time, drink good wine with friends on comfy leather sofas, I go to Maduro. It remains the only legal place in Madison to smoke cigars. I visit Maduro's every now-and-again. After a long week of dance lessons, listening, showings, and paperwork it's nice to head in for Joe Scalissi and his Rat Pack grooves.

A glass of wine or an Emerald City and just like that, its 3 hours of sweet smells, great music and an atmosphere that actually reminds of my great city of Manhattan.
