Many Bostonians sadly remember the day when their beloved Jordan Marsh became Macy's . Serious shoppers, however, find that this large chain offers a relatively good selection of infant, child, and pre-teen wear.
From a miracle on 34th Street to malls in the 'burbs, this is middle-class America's own department store.

This Macy's have some very good points and some very bad points. When they are having a clearance sale, the prices are hard to beat - especially on designer goods. On the other hand, the fitting rooms smell like the subway and although they display many shoes, they don't have ANY of them in stock. But for low prices, it's hard to beat.
PROS: Cheap
CONS: smelly
The store is set up like a discount second hand store with clothes on the floor and other signs of utter chaos. The customer service is non existent. I asked for a price check on something and she said that wasnt her department even though she was the only sales girl on the floor. I know she could have scanned the item. When trying on clothes, I had to wait 15 minutes outside the dressing room...
