The lady is so friendly. It was our first time and she recommended the beef pastie. It was delicious!

We pick up a package of 6 frozen beef pasties. They heat up well in our toaster oven and are yummy. Our trip to the Straits area isn't complete without a stop for pasties!

We stopped here for a dinner that was filling and tasty, without breaking the bank, and that is exactly what we got. We both ordered the beef pasties with some gravy. They were hot and filling. We thought the crust could have been a little crisper, but over all, we were not unhappy. The service was nice and the price...

Pasties originated as a meal for the miners of Cornwall, England, and later Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Wives would bake meat and vegetables in a crust and wrap it in many layers of linens or newsppaper for their husband's lunch. The Pastie provided a hot and nutritious meal that had good holding capacity and could be eaten anywhere. This full-bodied flavor soon became a favorite with locals...

Their pasties date back from over 800 years ago. The meal originally comes from Cornwall, England. Recently added were gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies, which are made fresh daily no preservatives. They also ship their products in the continental United States; orders can be made online.
