Had the Pollo Lomo Saltado...it wasn't very memorable or flavorful. Same goes for the beef version (Lomo Saltado). I wouldn't recommend those.Took nearly a 1/2 hr to get our entreés.Camarones...

Nice smaller place with a large variety of theoretically Peruvian food... which I'm willing to believe, it was different enough. We were looking for a place to eat in Somerville and stumbled upon this place. Was a good find. The staff was extremely solicitous and nice - making sure we understood what was on the menu and would enjoy what we ordered. Everyone did like what they got. We walked over to Machu Picchu for dinner because other restaurants in the neighborhood were too crowded. Quality of food here was quite good. Interesting selection of Peruvian dishes. The staff and kitchen are really trying hard to please their customers, and they are succeeding. We would definitely return here when we visit Somerville again.

The South American -flavored architecture, open floor space and spicy scents  emanating from within make a welcoming atmosphere at Machu Picchu. Executive chef Rosy Cerna has put together a delectable menu of Peruvian and South American dishes, some of her own concoction. At the long, vast bar, diners can enjoy an after-dinner beer or cocktail, or one of the various wines in stock.
