7/29/14 - Upgrading to 5 Stars. I've now been taking the boys regularly and several friends also starting taking their pups there. They do a fantastic job and the blow out results last for weeks....

Taking my dog back there again today

I had a great experience there. They washed my poodle, cleaned her ears, did some touch up haircutting and clipped nails for $32. I wouldn't say that's expensive. Petco costs $25 and isn't as conveniently located. People were nice.

That said, last time they said they needed 3 hours but dog was ready in 1.5 hours and they couldn't tell me how much it would cost before I left (weird.) Today they are saying they need 3 hours again. We'll see.

I like Mabel's though. They did a good job and its a local mom and pop merchant, what's wrong with that?

Worst dog grooming place ever!!!

I have made the mistake of taking our dog here three times and I will not do it again. They always tell you that they have time to take your dog and that s/he can be ready by a certain time however every time I have take our dog there it has taken at least one more hour. The first two times they didn't even bother to call me to tell me they weren't done yet so I had to make two trips and our dog was kept in a cage for over six hours waiting. They also do a very poor job. They don't follow instructions and never brush out all the dog hair clippings afterwards. Not to mention, they are rude...
