Cables is as old school as you get. It's a real classic diner complete with the beehive hairdos and pie cases. The food is good and while the clientele seems to be mostly senior citizens you know they've been coming here for the last 30 years. They also have many healthy options if you're watching you weight. A good solid place to get a no frills meal without a wait.

I just finished my meal. It was very good and reasonably-priced. I had a tall blonde waitress. She was perfect

Expensive less than mediocre food. Bad service. Rude tall blonde waitress. I cringe when I know she is my server.

I have been coming to Cables, since I was 16 years old. I moved to Las Vegas, in 1999 but, every time I come in to town I stop at Cables, to get a bite and to have coffee which is outstanding considering I usually get a coffee at Starbucks lol!
I am now 46 years old and I will visit Cables, anytime I come to Woodland Hill, Ca.

You`ll find that Cable`s serves up American food where it`s common to order seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and dress casual.
