Upon moving in I submitted a list of repairs including a hole in my bathtub, 2 lights not working despite changing the bulbs, and drawers in the kitchen that wouldn't pull out among other issues. After a month and threatening to call the attorney general, finally these repairs were checked out. It was another month however, before they were fixed. Later in my lease, I waited 4 months to have my broken dishwasher (complete with 6 inches of standing water) checked out. When the handy man (who was freelance and not associated with Lumberman homes) found the motor had worn out, he informed me the owner (who works at Lumberman homes) asked him to say I had not rinsed my dishes, causing an clog that could not be repaired. If that was the case, I would be liable for the damages. After another month, I finally got a new dishwasher. I endured the full term of my lease, but I am jumping with joy to be rid of Lumberman Homes!
they bait you in, don't fix anything, just put bandaids on the house, they raise your rent, they take fake escrow, they don't honor the insurance that you are paying for and they are rude once they have you tied in too deep to the house.Not to mention they charge you for that years taxes and predicted taxes for the following year, and they will never give you a receipt.
