If you like rock music and your bars dark, you are in luck. The only lights here are red and blue, plus the added glow of phosphorescent posters on the walls. Check out the black cat collection while you choose from over 20 beers on tap, there is not a boring domestic brew among them. Also noteworthy here are a pool table, balcony, and a jukebox that was stocked by a genius.
Saturday barbecue on back patio is just what we had in mind. We like having our smoke and drinking our $2 PBRs two at a time. Dig the tattoos and punk jukebox, but not so much the weekend B&Ts and SF State coeds getting blotto on lemon drops. Great beer selection (Chimay in a dive bar?) and friendly tattooed bartenders. Best bar we went to on our West Coast road trip. Awesome place , good music and served by the friendliest people. Laura is a real killer... I would recommend everyone who ever visits SF... ✌️

Right by my work! One of the few awesome dive bars left. Also one of the few places you can get delicious tamales from the tamale lady, if your lucky to be there when she comes by!
