A colorful mural on the outside walls of this charming little eatery announces the cuisine to all who pass by: chicken, seafood and beef. Once inside, patrons are greeted by yet another mural, this one commemorating the history of Fort Worth, including the Historic Stockyards . There's been a restaurant of some sort in this building since the 1930s; the original pressed-tin ceiling is still in place. Known for its pasta, wood-roasted entrées, and chicken-fried steak, the restaurant also has seven tables on a patio with umbrellas to ward off the southwestern sun. Breakfast is also available weekends. AE, D, DC, MC, V.

Roast chicken, smoked chicken alfredo pasta, crab bisque and lobster are just a few of the favorites available in the kitchen... more

A great place to gather with dog show folks after the Fort Worth Shows. Easy to get to and good parking. The food is excellent. I love the Salmon Salad and never miss the Lobster Bisque.

I liked everything about the place. Casual. Comfortable. Great Service. All of the food was wonderful. We had four people there on Saturday at lunch when they also serve breakfast. The eggs benedict was the best ever. They are famous for it. Their hollandaise is tart with lemon and wonderful. The wood roasted chicken was terrific. The breakfast pizza was great. The Lobster Bisque was the best... more
