This upscale open-air mall, in the north central part of town, houses a variety of yuppie favorites, including Old Navy, Banana Republic, Victoria's Secret, and Eddie Bauer. When your energy flags, retreat to one of several casual dining spots, such as La Madeleine, serving good fast French food, or head straight to Starbucks for a caffeine boost.

Located on the University of Miami campus, the Lowe Art Museum has a dazzling collection of 8,000 works that include American paintings, Latin American art, Navajo and Pueblo Indian textiles, and Renaissance and baroque art. Traveling exhibits, such as Wine Spectator magazine's classic posters of the Belle Epoque, also stop here. For the most part, the Lowe is known for its collection of Greek...

The Lowe Art Museum is a success because it represents the will of a wide community. Easy to get to from Brickell. Not crowded and inexpensive to enter. Nicely curated arts of many cultures. Easy on eyes and brain. Recommended.

Beautiful museum with a small but interesting collection of modern art. My favorite in Miami. They have activities for children and it is a good family trip.

I took a group of students to the museum and we had a great experience. We had a guided tour in which we were exposed to art from all of the different periods. Our guide was able to really carry on a discussion with the kids and got them each involved. Definitely plan on going again.
