I have been here several times and love the consistency. The service is fast and friendly and the fish is good quality.

Stopped into this restaurant to have a quick lunch while running errands. The spicy tuna roll was decent, the tempura roll I had was very mediocre at best. I ate at the bar and it took awhile to figure out to whom to deliver my order. Given that there are several other very good restaurants at Fashion Valley, like True...

1. Water is non filtered tap water and tastes like it.
2. Uses low quality rice. Rice is cheap long grain rice not short grain. Destroys the taste and texture.
3. Chicken used for chicken teriyaki is frozen chicken with grill marks pre burned. They take out a piece if chicken from the freezer, nuke it and throw teriyaki sauce...

Love Boat Sushi has been successfully operating their restaurants for many years. Although they opened their first restaurant six years ago in Oceanside they have expanded throughout San Diego such as San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo, and Fashion Valley. After many years of success in the restaurant industry, Loveboat Sushi is still managing to flourish with a variety of sushi delights.
